A truly outdoor weekend, combining sailing in the Solent with walking in the New Forest or Chichester Harbour

We meet on Friday for an evening meal and introductions to fellow crew members.

On Saturday we sail to our chosen destination arriving mid to late afternoon.

From our mooring we will have a good couple of miles walk to a local pub for an evening meal.

Those who are up for it can join us early on Sunday morning for a Sunday morning stomp around a picturesque circular walk before we sail back to our marina in Gosport for tea and cake!

The New Forest and Chichester Harbour are renowned for their bird life and seals too. There is no better way to see all this wildlife than to combine your viewing gallery from the deck of your yacht and from walking the shoreline.

What is included?

The cost of your Sailing & Walking Weekend includes:

Your accommodation on board your yacht throughout
Your breakfasts, homemade cooked lunches and our now famous cake!
All diets catered for!
Free use of sailing waterproofs (if needed) to keep you warm and dry
Use of safety gear (life jacket and safety harness) free of charge
Free parking at our marina

We eat ashore in the evenings so that everyone can stretch their legs (this cost is not included).

The only additional cost is a proportion of mooring fees which are split between those aboard. These vary between nil- £5 per night depending on where we stay.

Upon booking you will receive your Joining Instructions which provide a suggested list of what to bring.

Your Joining Instructions will also detail where to find us. We sail from Royal Clarence Marina in Gosport which is easily accessed by road (it is 20 minutes from the M27 at Fareham) or by direct train from Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour.
