If you are qualified or experienced at sailing to RYA Competent Crew level and beyond and you would like to discover the magical coastline of the Western Isles of Scotland, then join us on our five day summer cruise.

Sail through beautiful sea lochs separating stunning Scottish islands and view unique wildlife in its natural environment.

From our starting point in the beautiful Crinan Canal we visit small harbours and anchorages such as Colonsay, Port Ellen on Islay, Gigha and then heading back via Ardfern.

Weather permitting, we plan to sail 4-5 hours a day, stopping each evening in a small harbour for dinner and an overnight stay.

Our experienced RYA qualified skippers/instructor will encourage and support you to be actively involved in all aspects of sailing your yacht. They will take you to secluded bays, unspoilt coastal paths and litle known Scottish villages.

What is included?
The cost of our Western Isles of Scotland Cruise includes accommodation on board your yacht and your brakfasts and lunches.

We tend to eat ashore in the evenings so that everyone can stretch their legs (this cost is not included) or you can cook for yourself on the boat if you wish.

Additional costs include a proportion of mooring fees which are split between those aboard (these vary between nil- £5 per night depending on where we stay).

Your travel to/from your yachts at Bellanoch is also not included. If you would like details of travel options please get in touch. We advise not to make your travel arrangments until your booking with us is fully confirmed.

Upon booking you will receive your Joining Instructions which provide a suggested list of what to bring. Sailing waterproofs are an important item, whatever the time of year, as they keep you warm and dry.

We have these for you to hire at a charge of £10.00 per set to be available when you join your yacht. Sailing boots will also be useful. You are likely to have most other items on the list and we encourage clients to travel light because of the limited storage room on board.
